Preparing for Statutory Relationships, Sex & Health Education by Sept. 2020 - is your school ready?
The session will provide information to governors concerning the new updated guidance for Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education and Health Education which is to become statutory in schools in September 2020. The session is designed to:

- Increase understanding of the statutory guidance
- Identify what needs to be included in an RSHE policy to ensure compliance with the new legislation.
- Increase awareness of good RSHE in terms of development and teaching & learning
- Have a better understanding of how schools can ensure that its provision for RSHE meets the needs of its’ community including those from LGBTQ+ background, religious or faith backgrounds
There is no charge for governors from schools that subscribe to the Governors Central Training SLA or the Support and Training SLA for schools with independent clerks. A charge of £128 applies to governors from non-subscribing schools.
Governors in all schools (except EYFS) - maintained, non-maintained, independent, academies, free schools, non-maintained special schools, maintained special schools & alternative provision, PRUs.
